The East African Community (EAC) is a regional intergovernmental organization comprising the Republic of Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda. The EAC Secretariat has received a grant from the African Development Bank to finance the 50 Million African Women Speak Networking Platform Project (50MWS) to create a dynamic Digital Networking Platform for women entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the Economic Community for West African States (ECOWAS).
The East African Community Secretariat (EAC) is now inviting eligible and capable individual consultants to express their interest for providing services to develop content development strategy for the 50 Million African Women Speak Networking Platform; for Common Market for Eastern and Northern Africa (COMESA), East African Community (EAC) and Economic Community of West African States(ECOWAS) Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services ( brochures, description of past similar assignments , availability of appropriate skills/qualifications).
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and selection procedures shall be in accordance with African Development Bank’s rules and procedures for the use of consultants (2008. Revised July 2012), which is available on the bank’s website http://www.afdb.org
